Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Fall – Evaristo

Welcome back to the Oasis Springs Society. We’re back with the Evaristo’s, who left last season’s chapter with quite the cliffhanger. For you see…

Chiara had continued to work hard on growing her fame and reputation, mainly out of boredom I reckon, coupled with a want to be the centre of attention. The drone seemed to live-stream her whole existence, including the absolutely huge birthday bash that she threw for her birthday to elder and Syrah’s birthday to adulthood. Later on that same evening, Syrah and Cliff were abducted by aliens at exactly the same time and both came back with alien lifeforms implanted in to their lower intestines (if Cliff is to be believed about alien anatomy and physiology). Whilst this is bad enough that both a father and son are pregnant at the same time, it also royally screws up the family tree as both babies would have Senior PT #3 as their mothers, meaning they are both aunt and niece but also half siblings… and they also share that warped relationship with Quartz, who is due to age up to adult this week.

Quartz cannot wait to get out of this house, and Chiara also had her doubts as to how life in this loony bin would fare for her being an adoptive mother again. However, Syrah’s beloved, Agnes Joy, moved out of her household at the end of her rotation and has moved in with the Evaristo’s. I know that means I’m playing her twice… but shhh… I didn’t realise until it was too late and besides, the ages won’t be too out of sync.

Anyway, here is Cliff’s little spawn. A girl called Radium Evaristo.

And here is Syrah’s. Also a girl called Polonium Evaristo.

Cliff has taken to alien fatherhood like a duck to water, he must remember this from his days with Quartz. Syrah is also doing pretty good too, despite how much he struggled emotionally at the end of the last rotation.

Meanwhile, Agnes continues her charity work, her new living conditions have given her a central platform to protest in the city and have also inspired her to prompt difficult discussions about society’s acceptance of aliens and their bizarre family ties.

Chiara: “God this is nuts, I need a drink”

Yes, Chiara still acts like one of those famous types. She gets up when she feels like it now, showers and eats, the drone goes on and films a work out, then she hits the bar.

She then has the whole afternoon to do with what she wishes. Today for example is aging up the babies.

Here is little Radium. She rolled sensitive, and developed the quirks snuggly sleep, good appetite and messy eater.

And here is little Polonium. She rolled cautious with the quirks hates being held, gassy and self-soother. Great.

I think Polonium really looks like Syrah and in turn you can see parts of Chiara in her.

I was already very cautious about having twins again after my experience with the Coopers so lets see how this goes.

Although, so far… so good. Having many adult hands has made this parenting thing seem like light work?

It also means that the adults can get away to the fanciest restaurant in town…

Syrah: “You know, Agnes… I’ve always loved you… and I can’t help but think that something in the sim cosmos made us for each other…”

Agnes: “Oh Syrah, you’re so sweet!”

Syrah: “So would you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”

Agnes of course said yes, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Seriously, this family may not now be how I expected them to be, but these two have always been made for each other.

Back at home, more fun with infants continues. Cliff absolutely loves his little Radium.

And considering how Syrah had a continuous breakdown throughout his whole pregnancy, he actually adores being a dad to Polonium. It seems even Chiara is starting to come round to the idea.

Agnes is also getting involved with her adoptive daughter and in between work tasks enjoys some tummy time. Even though this is like having twins again, I am having such a different experience to how things went with the Coopers. The babies’ needs are met, as well as the adults… we’re even meeting milestones here! It’s like a breath of fresh air. Maybe I’m just getting in to a bit of a routine, but this is almost enjoyable?!

Quartz, however, doesn’t seem to think so. She still hates every single moment in this household.

Not long Quartz, and then you can move out with your beloved and inflict evil on the town…

Chiara carries on with her paintings and live streaming. I think it’s therapeutic for her in a way to zone out of such a ‘unique’ and busy family. I think this one is a masterpiece.

Chiara: “Yes, and it’s called ‘women’s struggle’. The message really resonates with me.”

Uh-huh…

Although I wouldn’t really say that Chiara has much of a struggle when it’s everybody else who is doing the most parenting for these babies…

Even Quartz is able to tolerate them for brief periods.

I thought that Syrah had emotionally recovered now he was no longer pregnant, but I guess I was wrong. He’s woken up a few times now either petrified from remembering a traumatic experience (the abduction) or just in a bad mood. I love Syrah, but he really is a very sensitive little soul.

Meanwhile, Agnes is invited out of the house to Geekcon by Walter. I’m terrible, I can’t even remember what relation Walter is to her, step uncle? I think… but their bond is so close and they’re so similar in age they grew up almost like siblings.

Walter does pretty well but Agnes doesn’t even place. I reckon she’s put off by yet more alien heads seemingly trolling her.

Back at home, life is pretty chill. I can’t believe how different this experience of having twins has been compared to with Summer and Luciano Cooper. Kirby still has a house key so she comes over to play some cards.

Quartz, however, remains a grumpy mess. Not long, Quartz until you grow up. And I have great plans for you…

Quartz: “That’s just great. Well I can’t wait until my life is void of all human contact! Apart from my schmoozy-poo Andres!”

And her dad, I’m sure. The only two sims she has ever loved.

Chiara has recently been growing her fame by effortlessly busting out amazing paintings. I mean look at this one?!

The babies are also showing off their talents and hitting milestones all over the place! Look at little Polonium sitting!

Radium also decides to give it a go!

Squee! So cute! And Agnes is such a dedicated caregiver taking pictures!

Agnes does have quite a bizarre relationship with these girls. On one hand, she’s the adoptive parent of Polonium through her relationship with Syrah, however Radium and Polonium are genetically both half-siblings and aunt/niece. Try not to think about it too much, it’s completely fried my brain.

Anyway, my point is that Agnes seems to love both girls.

And it’s time to try out some food!

Oh man I just love Polonium.

Radium however is absolutely filthy.

Case in point. Oh dear llama!

Quartz: “How many days until I can leave this hell hole full of weird babies that are vaguely genetically related to me, a mother who is chasing superstardom and an idiot brother?! Tell me, how many days until I can go to my refurbed spaceship in an undisclosed location?!”

Umm,, I don’t know Quartz, I should have kept better notes, but I’m sure your birthday is soon.

In fact, Agnes manages to take Quartz’ mind off of her hatred by playing some cards.

And Quartz seems a little bit happier after a smooch from her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Syrah comes home exhausted from another mind-numbing day as a Salaryman. He always comes home tense from work and as a result is barely progressing up the ladder at all. Deciding that he has enough on his plate with the upcoming marriage, expanding the family and a household which already has two babies, Syrah quits his job and takes up a role in the tech career as a programmer.

We then have another abduction. Only this time, thankfully, it’s Agnes. Seriously this family has been abducted more times than I can even remember.

Syrah: “Are alien life-forms always this stinky?”

Umm, yup. The sim life-forms can be equally as filthy though.

Despite a taste of parenting which was much more premature than either of these two anticipated, they are still absolutely smitten with each other. Today is a big day, it’s time for a few birthday parties ready for the wedding at the end of the week. (I wanted the girls aged up before the wedding so they could more independently manage their needs and then I could focus on the wedding a bit more).

Anyway, time to blow out some candles!

And with their respective dads too!

Anyway, here we have little Polonium. She continues to look a lot like Syrah and is such a little cutie!

Polonium rolled: Angelic
quirks: loves wake up time, hates bed time, good appetite.

And here is little Radium. I really love the purple tone to her eyes.

Radium rolled: charmer
quirks: loves water, good appetite

It’s also time for Quartz to finally have her birthday to young adult and she was extremely happy.

For her final trait, Quartz rolled hates children. Fitting really, and in keeping with her general personality. Quartz really couldn’t wait to get out of there, and moved out quietly and almost immediately to her private, quiet and characterful home in an undisclosed location. You will see it when I play Quartz as part of a new rotation! Bye Quartz, see you soon!

The family however, and somewhat sadly, barely notice Quartz’ absence as Chiara goes back to painting…

…or playing cards.

It’s a shame really, Quartz has always been quite a difficult personality, even from her infancy. And it’s a shame she’s moved out so unceremoniously like this. I’m not sure whether she’ll even want to do things with her family when I play her next, she just isn’t really bothered by other people at all. So I’m quite interested to play her.

These two, however, are just freaking adorable.

Polonium practices stacking some cubes…

Whilst Radium and Chiara play with some dolls.

Radium: “Dolly!”

Quartz: “Oh yeah, I remember these…”

Quartz isn’t gone for very long as she comes back for the wedding. I am so excited for this party, I cannot wait.

Literally everyone is invited. I have been looking forward to this for the longest time. In fact, I could see how suited Syrah and Agnes were for each other since they were children and I can’t wait for them to celebrate today.

Hugs were had…

Even Agnes’ maternal family the Bjergsens managed to make it.

Clara: “what do I do if the alien child is trying to hug me?…”

oh hon, you are a loooong way from Windenburg…

Chiara also dutifully steps in to play bartender for the OG Oasis Springs Society, not that is any hardship for her to be in charge of the alcohol…

And then it’s time for the ceremony.

We had set up a small area in the back yard to make the most of the space.

In typical sims fashion though, no one seems to give two hoots and instead they’re all just doing their own things…

Although I care *sniff*, what a beautiful couple!

Although those classy Bjergsens are seriously lowering the tone.

The party is in full swing inside however, as everyone gathers round for something to eat.

In fact, everything is just going really well, and even Chiara is drawn in to giving Polonium a hug.

Honestly this bunch of sims are just the cutest. They all get along so well and Renee has just slotted in like a jigsaw piece, she actually gets along with everyone.

Although seeing this from these two is totally not what I needed. This party isn’t about you guys!

Anyway, our couple head outside for a couple of wedding photos in the moonlight.

Actually one of my favourite couples yet… *squee!*

The party wraps up with a little motherly advice from Sofia.

Umm, excuse me hon but I don’t think you’re in a position to dish out marital advice.

And besides, a couple who karaoke’s together, stays together.

sigh, such a beautiful wedding…

But that’s all we have time for with the Evaristos! Join us next time for a new family in the Oasis Springs Society!

How will Syrah and Agnes adapt to married life? Will Chiara continue her journey to superstardom? And how will the girls get on in toddlerhood?

Are they holding each other’s babies? I can’t tell these two girls apart. This will be a long and confusing rotation next time I’m sure.
Until next time…

Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Fall – Cooper (2)

Welcome back to more Oasis Springs Society. This time with the main Cooper family who we are joining for fall!

Last time, Johnny and Nancy aged up to elders and became the most gorgeous grandparent-esque couple. Which is just as well really, as Florence and Walter had beautiful little Francis. Whilst that sounds quite straightforward, Florence had cold feet on the relationship and called things off just before Francis’ birth. Instead, she moved very quickly with new love Maximo Palacios from Selvadorada and he joined the family by moving in and proposing to Florence before the end of the last season. Maximo may be family-oriented, but he also has the serial romantic aspiration and I don’t think Florence yet realises that she may get hurt in time…

After my traumatic experience playing infants with Logan and Rocco, I was a bit apprehensive to how it would be playing Francis… so let’s give it a go shall we.

Florence starts the rotation by going through some colours and shapes with Francis, he is super cute!

Meanwhile, Maximo and Johnny have a few things in common as Maximo brings an obsession with the water slide in to the new generation.

For cowplant’s sake, Maximo! Go and get your suit on, it’s time for the wedding.

I was undecided about where to hold the wedding for the longest time. I figured the family would want something quite traditional, so we ended up at the estate in Windenburg.

Bernard: “Well, you, my darling… are the most ravishing bride…”

Umm, Bernard, don’t you start. This girl has already had a baby with her long-term boyfriend, dumped him, then got engaged with someone else like two days later. She really doesn’t need to now be swayed by your ghostly self.

Moving swiftly on… here is Florence’s true husband-intended. Maximo has managed to meet her at the alter.

I really should get My Wedding Stories with the amount of weddings I’m having recently…

Although it was a beautiful service.

Despite only the closest family actually coming out of the property to watch! A typical sims wedding.

Summer: “Dad pleeeeeeaaaase can I get some frosting off the cake. I swear it won’t even show!”

Logan: “ummmmmm no.”

Summer, I love you dearly, but we’re trying to have a wedding here.

Squee! My heart…

… although my heart then almost nearly broke as I panned round to see Walter watching from the sidelines standing further away.

I love this couple.

In fact, they are two flawed characters but they seem to make each other happy. I’m looking forward to seeing the direction their lives take.

Of course the kids have gone to get some cake as soon as it was cut.

Anyway, our happy couple, everyone.

Meanwhile, Francis was snoozing as cute as a little bug in a rug.

I read some more tips for playing infants online and crikey, the mobile is a lifesaver isn’t it? Why did I not know about this sooner?

Florence is a great mother actually, I wasn’t sure how she’d get on, but she absolutely adores Francis and does almost everything for him.

I must admit, it’s much easier just having the one baby (not that I had any choice), and Francis is just whizzing through his milestones. Sam comes to provide some sweet support with sitting.

I told you Johnny gave off super cute grandpa vibes, as he takes a picture of Francis meeting another milestone.

I love you Johnny, I’m going to be real sad when he goes…

But it’s time for a date to the local bar for these two for Maximo’s aspiration.

These two newly weds had a great time and actually couldn’t keep their eyes off each other.

Back at home, Sam also gets some attention.

Florence then goes to purposefully shake the bees. This girl may be the happiest she’s apparently ever been, but apparently we still shouldn’t mess with her…

Anyway, it’s time for Francis’ first try at baby food. Johnny seems overjoyed for some reason.

And I really thought Francis was enjoying the whole experience until…

Florence: “Umm, excuse me, mother?! You can see why this kid is stressing me out right now?”

Francis apparently hates whatever he was trying, causing Florence to get most exasperated that he would only take a spoonful.

He then proceeds to give the cutest, most hilarious little grin. You can certainly see Walter in him, can’t you.

Later that evening, Nancy woke up early for some reason worried about death. She decided to talk it through with Johnny.

Great, this just about broke my heart. Nancy felt a little better from talking things through though.

Although Francis is keen to eat a hearty breakfast this morning in preparation for his birthday.

Literally everyone is here, so this party should be good!

There is even a typical Morgan family hug unfolding!

For some reason Vihaan’s ex girlfriend, Candice also shows up? She wasn’t invited, but it seems she’s actually really good friends with Florence? Who would have thought it?!

Florence invites her in, and it is not awkward at all.

Meanwhile, Johnny and Logan have a really close bond and are enjoying catching up at the moment whilst the others do party related things.

But it’s time for this gorgeous little one to grow up. I love Francis, so here goes…

I didn’t realise it at the time, but what a fantastic picture this is. Francis’ dad Walter with the party popper and step dad Maximo in the background. Walter really does love his kid despite everything.

And here he is. Little Francis rolled charmer (yippee!) and earns the top notch infant trait. He developed the toddler quirks of messy eater, destructive and little singer.

Genetically speaking he is pretty much a double of his dad. Perhaps with Florence’s colour eyes?

After the excitement it is time for some cake and to lounge in the garden.

Whilst grandpa quickly gets Francis in the tub.

The next morning little Sam is sick! We were going to go back out to Selvadorada this morning, but that will have to be slightly delayed for a vet trip.

Although it’s nothing that can’t be resolved after a pretty hefty bill.

We’re back out to the jungle in time for lunch. Francis seems to love the butterfly and Johnny just enjoys being with his grandson.

Maximo and Nancy find themselves taking part in more academic pursuits.

Whilst Johnny gets back in to fishing, which he enjoyed doing last time the family was here actually. Maybe he should fish some more at home.

Anyway, exploration and archaeology is Florence’s entire job, previously she’s made a fair bit of money from her findings but this trip is going terribly. She’s been bit and injured by all sorts of jungle beasts… she’s getting tired… and there’s barely any archaeology sites. I’m really doubtful that this trip will even break the family even with the cost of the accommodation, so Florence stays out pretty late to try and find some goodies to sell back home.

These two however have developed a pretty great bond and Francis seems to be enjoying his time on holiday.

When she finally does get back to the villa, Florence is sore all over, so heads straight for a bath.

This year, the family is spending Harvestfest in Selvadorada, although the tradition of the grand meal seems the same…

…and being thankful for what you have. I do really like these two together and they stay up late to enjoy the outdoors for a little bit.

Squee! My heart! There is time for a bit of fun before the Coopers head back to Oasis Springs.

Back at home, Johnny enjoys taking Sam for a walk. Please believe me he is wearing clothes… they just so happen to be his swimming trunks…

Francis doesn’t seem quite so relaxed though… I have no idea what Nancy has said to make him so unhappy, but eesh, this expression! He must get it from his mother!

The family ticked over relatively normally until this lady walked right up to the door and started chatting to Maximo. Her name is Xochitl Luna, and I must admit, I instantly thought she was very charming and beautiful. Wow. She seems great and I hope I see more of her. Although sadly I reckon that will be in the form of Maximo completing his serial romantic aspiration…

The next day starts quietly with a story on the sofa for these two.

For Oasis Springs, the weather is dire! Although even harsh desert requires rain every now and again.

Despite the rain storm, Nancy is insistent that her plans of a Family Reunion go ahead. I figure Nancy would be one of my sims who would be incredibly interested in holding a reunion and seeing as her family is now extending and is actually quite broad, it may be cute to host this now.

So we take a lot of selfies, which I will scatter in throughout the party ongoings.

Luciano: “Geez, Grandpa, so many things in this kitchen stink! If my nose doesn’t fool me… it’s sulphur, ash and…. croissants…”

Johnny: “Oh, erm, okay kid… thanks very much…”

Well, Luciano is erratic.

Nancy is super happy snapping pics with the kids.

Yes, Walter and Kirby are invited. They’re family and as such will be part of the pictures. I love how my starter families are all connected.

Everything seems to be going great. Maximo is actually telling stories about Selvadorada here and the kids seem to be eating them up.

I do still think they’re very cute together.

Regular socialising was had.

All three kids this generation love Johnny, is it any wonder?!

And Logan and Johnny also have a fantastic relationship.

Anyway, we got a gold family reunion and Nancy and Kirby hug goodbye when it was time to go home.

The evening was finally warm enough to sit outside in bathing suits after we had a heavy rain downpour and snow in the space of one day! I like to think Nancy was happy with her successful family reunion.

And that’s all we have time for today folks. It feels like it’s been a pretty varied season for this lot… join us next time for more fun I am sure. Will Florence have a more successful expedition? Francis should age up to be a child! And how will Florence and Maximo take to being newly weds with their honeymoon period drifting further behind them… Plus more cuteness from Nancy, Johnny and Sam!

Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Fall – Cooper

Ah, another update of the Oasis Springs Society. This time we’re back in Brindleton Bay with Logan Cooper and his young family. Yes, the Coopers are in the right order this time!

Anywho, you may recall that the intense twin infants drove me crazy last time. Despite a beautiful wedding, everything descended in to maximum stinky-ness, Logan and Rocco argued, aspirations were not worked on and careers just about managed to progress – but only a teensy bit!

I’m looking forward to playing this family now though that the kids are toddlers, as nothing could be worse than the week that came before!

We start the week with Luciano doing a cute little dance whilst daddy Logan cleans out the tub. See, fun?!

Rocco however, goes to beat up the teddy bear in front of young and impressionable Summer.

Luciano is a bit more of a wild spirit and decides to go and play in the bookcase. He has loves books as one of his quirks which I thought was quite nice.

Young kids and pets are also super cute as Summer enjoys stroking Meryl.

We also have Rocco’s mum stop by, although for some reason she’s massively shocked at her grandson using a potty? Umm, no one invited you hon… feel free to leave.

But she stays and fulfils her grandmotherly duties of waving at the kids? Sigh, Nancy is much more helpful!

Speaking of help, we’re not actually begging for some like last season. Luciano is quite messy, but neither kid is as difficult to manage compared to when they were infants!

See?! We even have time for parenting things like stories! I actually really love these two kids. They already have quite distinct personalities and they’re super cute.

Especially when they do things like go to meet uncle Andre at the door!

Both kids are already great at talking (go figure), so quickly Andre is roped in to some sort of discussion on the front porch.

Scenes like this do still happen though, it’s regular family life to have mess and toddlers who don’t want to go in their high chairs but who want to eat their sandwiches on the floor… We find that the four bottles of liquor on the top shelf help. For the parents of course, not the kids….

Summer is super adorable!

Case in point!

Still, asides from spam of Summer, you may remember last time where Logan was particularly irritable and argued with Rocco a lot. Things seem a little better and he seems a bit calmer, however he continues to be afflicted by his jealous trait making him randomly more grumpy. In addition to this, it was around this time that Vihaan asked Logan out on a date. Yes, I wish I was joking. Turns out they have a slight romance bar from some flirts at Agnes’ birthday.

You can’t make it up, Agnes and Logan are pretty good friends, and now her dad is essentially asking out her friend, who is married with two young kids.

We didn’t go on the date of course, although I need to nip it in the bud. Instead, Logan gets to work on his logic skill for his career.

But, it’s a bleak and dreary day in Brindleton Bay and we need to get out the house. So we head for the family home in Oasis Springs, where despite it being the middle of fall, they’re having a heat wave. I really wanted the kids to get to know each other for playdates and things so it worked out quite well.

Maximo is such a charmer and despite having never met the other side of the family before, they are pretty much already friends after a couple of interactions. He certainly seems to have won Logan over.

Yep, say no more.

Meanwhile, Francis is passed around the two awaiting uncles. Turns out he hates both of them so the introductions were incredibly succinct.

The toddlers however, didn’t give two hoots and went to go and play in the den with Grandpa Johnny.

He is such a wonderful Grandfather and really does suit old age, all of the kids absolutely love him.

In fact, Johnny Zest has been a top little sim. He’s worked hard at his career, he’s been a doting husband, father and now grandfather and has just been really wonderful and dependable to play. 10/10 would recommend.

Summer toddles over to Francis to blow him a raspberry which was really cute.

Meanwhile, Luciano much prefers nanny Nancy who has just come back in from the garden. Featuring Sam who still sleeps in the most awkward of places for his humans to manoeuvre around.

Back at home that evening, little Summer is tuckered out from an afternoon with nanny, granddad and her cousin and can’t help herself but to drop on the bedroom floor. She so nearly made it to bed!

Downstairs, things were a little less sweet as Logan and Rocco obtained a difficult dynamic to their relationship. I’m not sure what was said whilst Rocco is sketching for his work task, but it made Logan burn the food.

I was really shocked by this, I had always seen Logan and Rocco as one of my more stable and long-lasting couples and now I’m just not sure what to do. Deciding not to rush in to any decisions, I plan to observe them both for the rest of the rotation.

Luciano is so adorable with his love of books. Don’t you just want to squish him!

Anyway, we decide to spend the day at the rec centre and take in a bit of San Sequoia. Rocco has become a little wide around the middle for a fashion influencer, so goes for a jog. He also catches up with Don Lothario, as the two are friends for some reason??

The kids go and play with the dolls. Summer plays so gently whereas Luciano enjoys throwing all the people around and putting them in his face. They all had a really good day actually, finished with some barbecue outside prepared by Logan as the sun was shining.

That evening, they decide to go out as a whole, childless group to the bistro in Willow Creek. The weather was awful as I forget it always rains there… but they had a good time regardless. But I know I also invited Walter? Where is he?

Getting drunk of course!

Walter: “So yeah, my ex who was my long-term girlfriend and the mother to my son is out there with her new fiancé right now and I would just rather stay in here…”

Bartender: “Eesh, I hear you man. Listen, it’s on the house…”

Ah yes, jokes were told and discussions were had…

…and everyone really enjoyed their food…

In fact, this was really one of my more successful dinners out.

Even the naked man who decided to shower in the rain didn’t dampen spirits (pardon the pun).

Walter: “Nah, I’m still staying in here man, at least I haven’t taken all my clothes off…”

Well, all in all, it was nice for this latest generation of the Oasis Springs Society to get to know each other!

The next day is Harvestfest and the only member of the family particularly bothered by it is Logan who really wants to decorate and share festive spirit. I had had enough of the gnomes and their seed packets recently so decided to take them out of the holiday. For me, a couple of gnomes are fine, but I think it goes too far when your house is overrun with them.

Anyway, the family have a slow start to the holiday. I don’t even think the kids are up yet as Rocco spends some quality time with Meryl.

That afternoon we head to the park in Willow Creek for a walk. Summer has actually grown to love watching Logan play chess.

I had Rocco look around for crystals but again, nothing. No dig sites or rocks… I’m starting to get a bit concerned.

Although, on a brighter note, that’s the same guy who showered at the restaurant last night! The one asleep on the bench, look closely…

Harvestfest was a pretty quiet one all in all, so it’s time for a small dinner and bed. These kids remain super cute and do everything together.

Even Meryl adores them. I’m glad they’re getting a good sleep though, as they have a big day coming up tomorrow!

The next day is time for a double birthday party! Are you as excited as I am?! The kids turn in to children! Syrah and Maximo get to know each other a little better after their dinner the other night.

The others help themselves to food and drinks. Of course Rocco is on the wine. He isn’t quite as bad as Chiara for the drinking, but does like a glass of red.
Luciano became a little soul of the party actually and spoke to every adult he met. This kid is not shy in the slightest which is partly really nice to see, and also partly unsettling as I was a painfully shy child and this would have been my idea of utter hell as a young kid.

But it’s time to blow out those candles. Luciano goes first as I forgot who is eldest. I really am terrible at this aren’t I?!

Summer toddles over to go next. And yes, Kirby pulls Logan in for a hug as they’re now extended family. I keep meaning to create a tree to evidence all of these relationships and it’s really starting to fill out now so would look pretty neat!

Anyway, here is Summer! Summer looks more like Rocco in terms of facial features and hair, I don’t see much of Logan in her at all except for her skin tone. She rolled cat lover and whiz kid as her aspiration.

And here is Luciano who has a lot more of Logan’s features and facial structure, particularly around the cheek bones which I think he gets from Johnny, but is more like Rocco in eye colour and skin tone. My sim families usually have a few children as I love to see what the genetics will do! That certainly used to be the case when I played legacy style, although I’ve been holding back with this rotational save as I don’t want to crash my world with excess sims!

Anyway, Luciano rolled erratic (I’ve never had an erratic sim before! See? Fun!) and the mind and body aspiration. I think Luciano will become a pretty interesting character to play!

And he’s started straight away as he cheats at chess with his sister. Yes, these two kids wanted to play chess, they sure do know how to live don’t they.

But it’s time to break up this monotony as the McRae’s come to stay. Literally all three of them.

They claimed to be here to help with the kids. Umm… where were they when I was in a state of despair when the kids were infants?!

Although the kids don’t seem to mind, and are enjoying their other side of grandparents and their uncle being round. I really thought I got more photos than this as they did spend a lot of time together… but oops, my bad.

Luciano spends the afternoon talking to himself. I think having an erratic sim will be fun!

Luciano: “and then in my dream I saw something called a social bunny! And he offered me a frisbee for the going rate of three pop tarts!”

… umm… okay kid…

Although both children are able to enjoy being kids and love the swing set. It is almost like they have been surgically attached to the thing.

However I am able to remove their backsides from swing set seats temporarily to go and play other games such as pirates. Whilst the dads are at the library, the kids would much rather play tyrants and explorers. Look at their faces in this picture! I just love it!

That evening we head back home to celebrate Rocco’s adult birthday. It’s a shame that the adult birthday isn’t more of an occasion as nothing really changes… but anywho, he stays the exact same and that’s the last thing we have time for this season!

Isn’t this such a great photo of Summer with Meryl?!
Well, fall has been bizarre for this family. On one hand, the kids have grown up brilliantly and I really like them as characters, Logan and Rocco are doing well at their jobs, and it was nice to have the family come to stay. On the other, I don’t know which avenue Logan and Rocco’s relationship will go down. I think I’ll give it a little longer and see how they are next season. Your guess is as good as mine!

Until next time!

Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Fall – Morgan

Well hello there, and welcome back to the Oasis Springs Society. We’re starting the fresh new season of fall with the Morgans in Mount Komorebi. Need to remember what happened last time? Well so do I, and it was something like this…

Dating continued for everybody, things carried on going really well for Kirby and Trevon and Agnes and Syrah. Meanwhile, Walter continued to see Florence and Vihaan started a relationship with a personal trainer called Candice. It was a pretty chill rotation last time with Kirby aging up to an elder and that was about it.
In other rotations, Walter and Florence’s son, Francis was born and Florence called it off with Walter, in favour of a stall vendor from Selvadorada.

Of course the first thing that happens upon me opening the lot is a Morgan family hug between Kirby and Vihaan. This family is so affectionate!

I switch my rotations kind of early in the morning, so we just kill some time until a more sociable hour until Walter and Kirby can go and visit the Coopers. I figured Walter would want to go and spend some time with Francis.

The girls also enjoy seeing each other and catching up, now that they’re family of course.

Walter heads straight over to go and get Francis.

Umm, Maximo? You alright there, buddy?

I squee’d so hard! Look how teeny tiny Francis looks against Walter?!

Who then introduces his son to grandma Kirby. Honestly so freakin’ cute.

Speaking of freakin’ cute. Agnes and Syrah meet up at the baths. Agnes is still a teen and Syrah as we know is now an adult, so they just got together as a catch up.

Syrah: “Oh it’s great to see you again ‘Nes. It’s been a rough couple of days at home… on that note, I have something to tell you.”

Umm, Syrah, your stomach enters the room before you do, I think Agnes already knows.

Agnes: “Oh wow, you know, this wasn’t what we had planned Syrah… but maybe it was meant to happen… and if that’s the case then of course I still love you and want to be with you! I can’t believe I can feel it kicking…”

Syrah is relieved that his unplanned, unexpected pregnancy doesn’t come as a life-changing shock to his future wife. And I’m surprised how remarkably well Agnes took the whole thing.. essentially becoming a step-mother whilst still a teen. Eesh.

Agnes has always been very practical and level-headed though, so is it any wonder. I suppose having all your troubles melt away in a hot spring also helps.

Meanwhile, Walter is having some unexpected fun of his own and has been asked out on a date by this young lady. I wasn’t going to formally introduce her yet, but seeing as she asked out one of my playables… *ahem*

Meet Renee Deschamps. Renee has moved from abroad to follow her acting dream to try and make it big. She’s settled down in a small but practical home in Oasis Springs and got chatting to our young athlete Walter here, whilst he was visiting his son across the street. Bit sleazy? I don’t know.

Anyway, I’ve not played Renee yet, but she will form part of my regular rotation and I already think she’ll be a lot of fun. I mean she herself chose the fanciest restaurant to go on this date…. so it seems she likes the finer things in life.

The pair actually hit it off really well. I was impressed. No hard work, no back and forth with the relationship bar like he had with Florence, they just really enjoyed each other’s company. And just look at how they’re looking at each other already.

Once he got home, Walter evidently had an abundance of pent up energy so he took himself to the workout bench and didn’t stop until he had completed his aspiration of Body Builder!

In fact, he mostly missed the Bjergsen’s coming round. I figured that Agnes should spend some time with her maternal family seeing as Sophia hasn’t really seen her since she was a child. This random lady however also came along?

Walter does have time for a quick chat and a hug with Elsa though. I didn’t realise these two got on so well?!

And I also didn’t realise that Agnes liked her mother so much?

Blimey, so much hugging.

Anyway, this one is a special hug because just watching mother and son hug from this angle made me a little sad that Kirby is getting older, Walter has his own kid now… on the book shelf are photos from when Kirby and her best friends were much much younger, and then Ishaan’s urn on the shelf. The passage of life I guess… anyway, I decided to put the deep thoughts behind me.

Kirby has also decided that she is feeling much more romantic in her old age. Plumbob help us! So she invites Trevon round for some kissing and some woohooing (but don’t tell the kids!)

Meanwhile, Vihaan has taken matters in to his own hands and has decided he wants to break up with Candice. He invites her over to tell her and it does not end well.

This came out of nowhere so Candice was actually pissed. I can’t really say I blame her as they were a sweet couple. I’m not sure why Vihaan wanted this, and considering his ex-wife cheated with the neighbour, Vihaan is also racking up a number of exes.

Candice calms down from her anger, and just leaves feeling upset. Trevon coming downstairs in his underpants from woohooing his elderly girlfriend serves as a stark and unwelcome reminder of things Candice has now lost.

Vihaan however gives zero hoots and does some programming.

Well, that was eventful wasn’t it?!

Anyway, suddenly Renee is knocking at the door and Walter invites her in. She’s meeting the family and the group a little earlier than I originally wanted, but what the hey.

It’s time for a birthday party! Agnes is ageing up to young adult today. Waiting patiently for his love to age up is Syrah in the background who has been relieved of his burden of alien pregnancy.

Renee is meeting these bunch of knuckleheads I call my sims for the first time this afternoon and she seems on her best behaviour whilst staring at the alien guy.

Still, lets get this show on the road shall we people! Although Agnes herself comes down reading a book.

But it’s time to blow out the candles. Bless Chiara and Cliff for actually cheering, no one else seems to care. And in fact, it seems Kirby has heard something scandalous from her son’s new love interest.

Florence however has gone outside to go and kick over the trash.

Is someone bitter about their life choices, hon?

Now I love Florence, and can’t wait to see what she’ll get up to with Maximo and Walter with Renee.

And here’s the birthday girl! Isn’t she a natural beauty?!

For her final trait, Agnes rolled good, which is incredibly fitting of her gentle nature. And look at how happy the party looks behind her!

Cake was eaten, hugging was done, and a good time was had. Altogether a nice party.

Which leaves Walter exhausted and sleeping with his arm completely behind him.

Agnes joins the politics career track as I see her as very clever, well spoken and level headed sim and I think she would suit this. Being good, she joins the charity worker branch. The first thing she has to do is develop her charisma and yeah, I totally look like this all the time when I’m rehearsing something?

As a side note, no that isn’t a reminder of death in the mirror’s reflection. It’s Kirby’s skeleton from her medical practice.

Getting a job is one priority now you’re an adult, but so is inviting your lover round stat, to finally be able to woohoo with them again.

Syrah: “Oh my love, I thought you’d never ask…”

Honestly these two are so mild mannered and in love but can still be incredibly full of character and spontaneous.

That afternoon, Logan invites the family round to their home in Brindleton Bay, so it was nice to go and catch up.

They spent most of the afternoon there really, just socialising with friends.

And I also got to get a glimpse of the babies! *squee!*

Omg, so cute. This family truly has the most amazing bond.

Meanwhile, someone has made a super cute rabbit out of the clay.

Walter has missed a lot of the fun this afternoon being at work, however it’s quickly forgotten about as he’s been promoted to minor leaguer!

Although despite him being tired, he can’t go to bed yet as Kirby is deciding to upgrade the bed to include massage options? Umm, did I read that right?

Kirby, does this have anything to do with you being romantic now?!

The next day, I figured we’ll have little Francis come for a stay-over to spend some time with his dad. Walter goes round introducing him to everyone, although he absolutely hates Agnes for some reason.

Not that it matters, as it’s already time for a nap whilst the family spends some time together.

More cute hugging follows.

Oh, including some kissing! Umm, Renee invited herself round again. She must really like Walter. Anyway, these two were quite happy to put on a display of affection and decide to take it upstairs to the bedroom.

Kirby, however, is absolutely hardcore and intercepts at the perfect moment.

Kirby: “Umm, son, I know you wanted to knock snow boots with this new floozy here, and in my bed too, but would you just take your son for a hot second.”

Ouch, Renee does not look happy.

Although Uncle Vihaan takes care of Francis for now.

Kirby absolutely loves her grandson, and even though I set this up as a stay-over for Francis and Walter to spend time together, it’s actually been Kirby who has done most things for the baby.

See, she is so chuffed to be a grandmother.

Although where is Walter? At a gathering of the Oasis Springs Kids at the pool of course!

Renee, darling, you get changed inside the facilities…

Renee: “Umm, not with this body I don’t!”

Sigh, a future diva if ever I knew one.

Not many of the kids showed up, probably because they now mostly have their own lives to lead… but Agnes came to participate in some laps.

Although these two didn’t even get in the pool!

Figuring that she’d missed him earlier, Agnes invites Syrah round for them to spend a nice evening together.

Their quality evening is concluded with Agnes wanting to introduce Francis to Syrah.

Syrah: “No offence but no thank you dear, I am currently living in my own personal hell with two alien babies at home and the ageing turned off until I am played. I don’t think I could psychologically handle being introduced to yet another small life form..” *just keep walking*.

Well, I can’t really say I blame him…

Anyway, please find some cute Francis spam. Seeing as he lives with the Coopers, I really am making the most of Kirby and Walter’s time with him.

Sooooo cute!

And he’s even started to like Agnes!

Speaking of which, Agnes has to go and protest in the Arts District for her job. I forget which cause she picked to back, but in somewhere like the Arts District, her message is falling on deaf ears.

Literally, no one cared. Even that guy stood all the way over there and who seemed to watch the whole time just wasn’t bothered.

Whilst this may tick the box for a career task completed, lack of an audience to her very worthwhile cause leaves Agnes feeling a little deflated, so she just takes herself off to bed once she gets home.

In fact, this is the last we see of Agnes this rotation as she packs up and quietly slips away to go and start her adult life with long-term boyfriend Syrah Evaristo. We’ll catch up with her when I play the Evaristo’s. And yes, I realised that my stupidity means I’ll be playing her twice in a rotation, d’oh! Oh well, never mind, it’s happened now!

Vihaan however, comes home with another promotion. He seems to end the rotations having improved his career prospects every time.

And that’s about all for the Morgan’s right now. They look like a bit of a motley crew at the moment now Agnes has moved out don’t they? A mother and her son and step-son who haven’t yet flown the nest… I wonder what they’ll get up to next time? How will things go with Walter and Renee? Will we have some more cute Francis moments? Will Vihaan get another girlfriend only to randomly break up with her again?

We’ll see, I guess. I must admit I’m quite interested to see what happens with this lot considering they now have a relatively unconventional family dynamic! Until next time!

Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Summer – Evaristo

Welcome back to more Oasis Springs Society. We’re back with everyone’s favourite aliens, the Evaristo’s!

Last time…

Trying to appease Quartz’s ‘soulmate’ aspiration, which is entirely out of character for her anyway, she began to date Andres Speer who is the only sim on the planet she’s met so far she doesn’t argue with. Cliff continued to write books, Syrah and Agnes continued to be cute and Chiara decided a little side venture from her usual critic stuff was called for, and she began to chase fame as a live-streamer with cooking and fitness content.

We’re due a couple of birthdays this rotation, so lets see what happens shall we!

Chiara has eased in to Sunday morning by having a run, which has really become part of her morning routine (and I find it helps keep the waistline in shape being a food critic). She is also joined by her drone as she attempts to climb the dizzying ladder that is fame – never mind that we’re about as high up as a step-stool on this metaphorical ladder!

She is also joined by Syrah, her son. But wait a minute, the Evaristo’s have moved again?!

Yes, yes they have! I was sick of the apartment which was becoming cramped for space, the neighbours were awful and I thought to complete Syrah’s aspiration of mansion baron he will probably need to go in with his parents to combine their income. The Evaristo’s are well-off, but not swimming in cash. So it has always been my long term plan that Syrah will stay at home, whilst also raising his family there.

The Old Salt House seemed like an obvious choice, still in San Myshuno, spacious and with potential to expand. It’s a bleary summer’s day today though! I forget how grey this neighbourhood can be.

But it’s time to work on Quartz for a minute and we head out on a date with Andres.

These two get on really well (I think Andres is also mean) and just seem to enjoy spending time cracking jokes.

Speaking of which…

Quartz: “This is what my mother, Pollination Technician #3 used with my father, you see the duck goes right up….”

Andres: “Oh geez Quartz, please!”

Although the *ahem* nuance of alien humour isn’t always found on human test subjects…

Although the pair do go inside to sit and chat for a bit. I don’t know why I took two teens to a bar, I’ve not been here in a while and was too lazy to then go somewhere else.. However, the pair become boyfriend and girlfriend today so that’s good!

Back at home, Syrah continues to be the delicate little flower he is. He currently has two fears, one of unfulfilled dreams, the other of failure (I think… I should take better notes)! So he heads to his dad for some life advice.

Cliff: “Son, you’re just a teen, you have so many opportunities ahead of you! I know the big world isn’t made for laid back aliens like us, just do what I do. If in doubt, nap it out”.

Which is exactly what Cliff does. That must have been some exhausting parenting, as he goes to lay down in the garden. It’s nice that these guys have some outdoor space now even though it is so grey today. I just realised that the kids have never had a garden as for the longest time the Evaristo’s have been apartment-dwellers!

Although there’s still that community spirit as locals eat fruitcake off the floor from outside the house.

That evening, Chiara and Cliff decide to try out a new restaurant I’ve built.

It’s called Jazz-Aret and is absolutely based on the nightclub from Bob’s Burgers, season 11. I’m not a good builder at all, but I seriously tried with this. Maybe I’ll show some pictures of just the lot at some point.

It looks like all the big names are here for opening night. Including some children? Sigh! I wish there was a way to make a venue adults-only.

Chiara has a great time though! I love her so much!

And the pair really enjoy their date. Eagle-eyed readers will spot Vihaan and Candice in the background.

The next morning, Chiara manages to paint a masterpiece… yes, this thing.

But it’s time to do some work and socialising all in one, as Chiara has to review three drinks for her work task. So we head to the bar in Mount Komorebi with the girls. I love the feel of this place, it’s so cosy and the time just passes so quickly when I play here.

The girls quickly settle in to playing some cards once Chiara has had a few drinks.

Which is just as well really, as the bar tender joins in to play a game! All the others look deep in thought, Chiara looks like she feels she’ll be taking home a lot of money!

Back at home, Quartz is raging about something. She’s been in an awful mood recently and has been walking around with a moodlet about how she doesn’t feel welcome in the family for quite some time now. She feels hurt around Chiara and Syrah (that’s rich considering how horrible she was to him as a child!) and so she spends her days fuming away. In fact, the only person in the family she likes is her dad.

Although just because she hates the place, doesn’t mean she has to burn it down. Thanks Quartz!

Sigh.

This only fuelled Quartz’ bad mood and by this time she was literally about to crack, so I sent her for a nice bath whilst Chiara was left to clean it all up. It’s going to be a long time for Quartz yet to be able to move out of this place, as she is only just in the middle of her teenage years.

Anyway, Chiara is just fine, thanks.

I still absolutely adore her, particularly when she does amazing, in character things like this whilst on a date with her husband.

Maybe it’s having a party animal for a mother, and a lazy author for a father, but these kids are incredibly maladjusted. Yes, I know I love Syrah, but even Syrah. We have Quartz who wants to end all sim life, starting with her family first it seems, and then you have Syrah who is gloomy and so is sad all of the time and will frequently retire to his bedroom to cry. I’m hoping when Syrah ages up and settles down with Agnes he will start being a bit happier?

Anyway, ignore Cliff in his pants… but don’t ignore him too hard, because this beautiful sim just wrote his first best seller. Good plumbob! It did almost finish me off. And we still have 2 more to write… but he has at least got one out of the way. Well done you clever little alien sim!

Cliff: “Who is the ‘lazy author’ now, right?”

Ah poop. Well, you are lazy, and you are an author… besides, part of your charm is that you’re so easy to please Cliff.

Difficult conversation over, it’s time for a birthday party. This time, it’s a joint party of Chiara finally ageing up to elder (sniff), and Syrah who ages up to young adult.

Chiara still definitely has the moves whilst live-streaming her own birthday party.

And they all look like they’re having a great time! Agnes and Syrah share a brief moment together before Syrah ages up, just to see them through the period of time where their age-gap would be highly inappropriate.

Anyway, Chiara goes first… and I wasn’t sure what to expect with this.

But she’s still gorgeous! A quick costume change is being organised to ensure Chiara’s outfits are a little more ‘age appropriate’ but still in keeping with her large personality.

And Syrah next…

…who actually has massively filled out in the shoulders! Goodness, he could give Walter a run for his money… I mean just look at him! *Ahem* anyway, as I was saying *checks notes*, Syrah rolled romantic as his final trait. I guess this is rather fitting as he and Agnes are entirely smitten for each other.

With the formalities out of the way, this lot are free to party-down!

I always forget that Johnny is a member of Partihaus, but he certainly has the moves!

And whilst Johnny is letting loose on the dance floor, the more ‘adultier’ adults all enjoy a slice of cake.

Even Cliff took a moment to dance! He still has the moves as well! I’ve not seen him dance like this for a long time!!

Kirby however showed her age ever so slightly. Oh my beautiful Kirby, I still love you loads!!

The party came to a natural finish after much dancing, joking and everyone left very happy. In fact, I really enjoyed playing that and it really entertained me. Syrah got a bit of an early night.

Meanwhile, Cliff was entirely drained from all of the social interaction and dancing so decided to play sims.

Sounds about right, my man.

Although then, Syrah just got himself out of bed to go and investigate a weird light.

No Syrah no!

Ah crud.

Although at exactly the same time Cliff also goes outside to investigate a weird light.

Kirby: “Evening again, Cliff! Nice night for it!”

Double crud.

Honestly. Father and son abducted at exactly the same time! I was in a state of shock! My husband came downstairs and I just had to tell him. But seriously?!

Kirby: “Yeah, freakin seriously! I’m trying to go to the bathroom here?!”

Syrah found that after his rude awakening he couldn’t then sleep. He took his abduction incredibly hard and so stayed up that night fixing the sink.

The next morning, usual service resumes as Chiara dances for her social media followers.

And Syrah practices his writing skill for his new career path as a salaryperson.

I was actually very unsure what I wanted Syrah to do, but I figured that this was a good solution and provided a job that didn’t require him to be outgoing and in a way, fits his ‘wanting to please’ personality.

Meanwhile, both boys have a queasy and uncertain feeling about them. I have a feeling we are in for two alien babies, which will technically belong to different generations, but also belong to the same generation due to the technicality of their mothers being Pollination Technician!! Technically! Yes, don’t think too hard about the genetics of how two babies will essentially be each others half siblings but also aunt/uncle, niece/nephew combo. In fact, no one in this house seems to think too hard anyway these days, it causes wrinkles.

Speaking of which, this random lady just invited herself in as she’s a huge fan of Chiara’s. Ummm, go home, hon! The creepy fan was in sims 1 remember! We quickly showed her to the curb as I don’t want her getting the intel on what goes on in this house.

Things like bizarre alien pregnancies…

… bizarre alien pregnancies that affect both father and son?! Which I’m sure would be quite the scoop in some of the more ‘characterful’ tabloids.

Syrah: “oh dear, what is Agnes going to think of this?!”

Syrah continues to take the violation of his insides particularly harsh bless him.

Cliff on the other hand is taking it all in his stride. Quartz only ever spends time with her dad, so gets to hear all about it.

Cliff: “oh Quartz! This new alien offspring is turning my insides in to fluorescent goo! Just like you did when you were carefully placed in to my lower intestine by the surprisingly alluring pollination technician to advance our alien race!”

Quartz: “OH MY GOD! And now dad is going to have another alien baby! No one in this house likes me anyway! My life stinks!”

As if Quartz didn’t already hate every aspect of her home life, the idea of an alien sibling coming out of her father (and her brother) seemed to psychologically perturb her even more.

So I take her to do something I think she’d enjoy. Swimming with her boyfriend!

Look, kid, I’m really trying here, understand?

Quartz comes round and gets a smile on her face when she actually goes in the water though! And what swimming class for children is still going on at 9pm over there?!

Still, she cheers up just enough to have a kiss and a grope of Andres before it’s time to call things a night.

Syrah: “oh… I don’t feel so good…”

Chiara was quite done with being in that loony bin for so long, and she figured she needed to catch up for a coffee with the OG Oasis Springs Society. They head to the cafe in Windenburg which is one of my favourite lots!

Nancy: “So let me get this straight… since we saw you at your party just a few days ago… Quartz hates living with you all, and both Cliff and Syrah got abducted and are now having babies?! Geez, that’s harsh!”

Chiara: “you can see why I just needed a coffee… still, it’s the work of the great pollination technician to advance the alien race and it must be an honour for both my husband and son to be chosen! But I can’t help but feel a bit crappy about it, like my husband having another baby?! I’m old now!!! I’m a low-level celebrity?! I can’t be a mother and a grandmother again and all at the same time!”

man next to Kirby: “umm what? This is the last time I just pick an empty chair at this place.”

I don’t know what virtues and wisdoms of family life Nancy gave to Chiara, but she came home that evening and gave her pregnant son a hug.

It was very touching.

Syrah however, responded by yelling at her. You see, his state of misery has now transformed in to fear and he walks around absolutely petrified on account of his abduction. He really is a sensitive little alien who is taking this incredibly hard.

Cliff on the other hand doesn’t seem to mind, and I think Quartz has also mellowed a little as the pair enjoy their own hug.

Another masterpiece, another absolutely bizarre painting. But that’s art, right? Are you alright there in your old age Chiara?

Chiara: “I just love the colour of this dress, and I thought I’d paint Mrs Windy-Day!”

The fact she earns money and fame from this just curdles my brain.

Anyway, Syrah is exhausted and upset, so again retreats to his bedroom to cry.

Although you can partly see why, can’t you? Honestly, I feel so stinking bad for this kid. You can imagine it now, being a boy who for his whole childhood was tormented by his sister, you want nothing more in life than to have a nice home with your long-term girlfriend who you’ve completely fallen for. And then, on the night of your birthday(!!!) you are abducted by your alien race and impregnated – in to the lower intestine if Cliff is to be believed. No wonder he feels so crappy about it.

But this is all the Oasis Springs Society that’s fit to print right now, which means that the babies will be born whilst I’m not on the lot. Hecking plumbob, if that’s not a cliffhanger I don’t know what is? So…. place your bets… Boys? Girls? Skin tone? Well, you’ll have to wait and see… And join us next time too I guess for Syrah starting his life with Agnes, Chiara becoming more famous? Will Cliff ever write another best seller? And will Quartz finally move out and be happy? These are all pertinent questions, but seem less dramatic then two tiny alien flesh bags! Until next time!

And just look at the family photo! I lol’ed so hard! Although it’s a shame they’re not stood like book ends…

Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Summer – Cooper (2)

Welcome back to the Oasis Springs Society. This time, we’re back with the Coopers, Logan and Rocco’s happy little family in Brindleton Bay. What happened last time? Well, Logan got a job in the business career track to try and get some savings behind him whilst he attempted to continue hosting a range of successful parties. Rocco on the other hand, continued his stylist career track from home whilst searching for collectibles to complete his aspiration. They adopted little Meryl and got engaged at the end of the rotation.

We join the couple perfectly happy with having a relaxed morning, Logan is enjoying a cuddle with Meryl.

Meanwhile Rocco is fashion blogging to try and gain some experience.

But, the morning won’t stay very relaxed for long….

… that’s right! It’s wedding time!

God I love these two.

The guests start to filter in…

And I take that as a queue that we can start the ceremony. It seemed right to me that Logan and Rocco would be the sort of couple of marry in the city. I’ve also noticed that Rocco is wearing an entirely different suit?! But he also strikes me as the sort to do a costume change at his. own wedding.

sniff sniff, so beautiful.

I was also completely stunned to see the majority of the guests sitting in the actual chairs?! Knock me down with a feather.

The younger generation however are inside taking advantage of the bar facilities. Florence even flirted with Walter! Stop it girl! Not after the drama you gave me on your rotation!

Back at home, the couple ease in to married life. Although they decide that it isn’t just the pitter patter of Meryl’s tiny feet that they want to hear, and they’d really like a baby.

And it’s as easy as that? As Logan struts out the door to go to the clinic. I have been saving my first impressions of having a science baby particularly for these two, and I’m keen but also daunted to play infants!

So here she is, a little girl called Summer, named of course after the season of her birth (a constant reminder of her story so far)!

And then, a boy, Luciano, following with the Italian heritage that it is my headcanon that Rocco has. I’ve heard that twins were more common with science babies and sadly it has proven true for me. Don’t worry, I’m still trying to get a refund from the clinic. They shouldn’t have used everything that was in the tube if there was some going spare!

Anyway, for a brief moment, it’s like nothing has really changed as Rocco returns back to the computer to blog about this season’s hottest looks.

In fact, he steps up to father duties beautifully and is straight on it with the kids’ needs. However, I certainly think the pair will have their hands full. Summer spends most of her time crying, even when she’s perfectly happy.

Rocco: “it’s ok, she’s just a little diva like her daddy!”

I’m sure he will not be so cheerful at 3am.

Anyway, Nancy decides to come round. Not sure why but actually I’m quite surprised she didn’t organise a stay-over when the babies were born. I’ve also just realised the back on this dress which I’m not sure quite suits her now… but too late!

Rocco decides to show her some pictures of the babies even though they’re just upstairs.

And Nancy springs in to grandmother mode and starts to clean.

In fact, Rocco’s mum then comes over too which I just found hilarious and also really sweet that the new grandmothers would want to go round and help out.

As if we didn’t have enough visitors, Walter also stops by this evening. But he doesn’t stay for long.

Anyway, the boys have really got in to the swing of things. Although I am dreading what’s coming next.

Yes! It’s a birthday party!

I’ve kept it small this time by only inviting the two families; the Cooper’s and the McRae’s. Walter is also here as Logan’s best friend as I see him as more of a God father character? It would have been great if they introduced that in Growing Together, or the options for children to have ‘aunties’ and ‘uncles’ who are actually their parents’ family friends. Sigh, look at how Walter is looking at Florence…

But a good time was seemingly had by all as some dancing followed.

Anywho, this is the moment where all our lives drastically changed. Yes, Rocco, take a picture. I had mixed expectations about playing with infants, particularly twins(!!) from people’s reports online. Some comments I read and thought “pshh, how hard can it be?!” others made me dread this virtual baby experience. Part of me thought, I’m an experienced sims player (hahaha!) and have been playing since TS1 first came out, but crikey was I in for a shock. As you will soon find out.

Similarly, my in real life kid also barely ever slept and I really felt my stress levels rising playing with these two little boogers. Let’s see them shall we.

This is Luciano. He obviously has Rocco’s complexion and Logan’s hair.

Luciano thoughtfully rolled the trait wiggly infant and over time developed the quirks: snuggly sleeper, good appetite and feeding tinkler. Yes, how lucky am I.

In fact, the sims Gods must have heard me remark how fortunate I am when they blessed me with Summer’s traits.

Summer also rolled wiggly infant (you can’t make it up!) and her quirks became: loves wakeup time, good appetite, frequently sneezes.

I’m not going to lie, I was completely at sea. Two babies who defied sleep like they were in competition with each other felt back breaking. In the end Summer eventually nodded off on the living room floor, but I was so stupid with getting them to sleep that I could only let them sleep for a while as their other needs by that point were so low that I had to wake the babies to feed them. And thus, the vicious cycle continues.

In the calamity I was happy to take this cute pic of Summer and Meryl.

And Rocco has been honing his photography skill recently for his career, so here’s a cute pic of Logan!

Rocco’s brother also decides to come over, but offers no practical help whatsoever and instead decides to argue over chess. Families, right?! You can’t choose ’em!

I forget who this is, possibly Luciano? To be fair it’s all a repressed blur, but one of the kids had a nappy explosion so poor Rocco who hasn’t even emptied his own bladder yet decides to take care of the kid that is now more poop than child.

Stink crisis averted, we head to the park for Rocco to look for crystals. Shockingly there weren’t any… go figure. Although Summer was happy snuggling up indoors with daddy.

And Logan was super-dad all the way back home too. Look at that for a picture. I cracked up, “calling daddy-day-care”!

Oh gosh yes, cry Luciano, cry. I haven’t heard enough of it already! Honestly if it’s not one, it’s the other…

Although infants’ feet are HELLA CUTE!!!

We take our moments when we can get them in this house. I think for a couple of hours at least both of the babies slept. Ready to do it all again in the morning.

Speaking of which. Rocco looks a little worse for wear which is totally not becoming of the next big name in fashion. However, this is how we look here now, for the sake of the children…

Meanwhile, Logan has been working throughout all of this and then coming home and dealing with the kids. I realise he has done nothing for himself this whole time. So he gets to go on a jog and that’s about it.

Logan: “urge to kill drifting…. drifting…”

Also, when I stop looking at the kids for all of two milliseconds, I really appreciate this beautiful view!

Although these kids are just so dang cute. I almost don’t care if both Rocco and Logan are steaming flesh bags of filth, so long as the babies are ok.

And we finally seem to get in to some form of a routine of how life must go on even with these demanding tiny sims.

Meryl, on the other hand, has been severely neglected this whole rotation. I don’t think I’ve pet her, brushed her or bathed her once. Sigh, sweet Meryl. So unassuming, so forgiving. She just loves going under the table or the sofa and having some time to herself.

Still, I had done some reading on infants in between play sessions and realised that I had the glitch where milestones weren’t saving or being applied. For example, I was forever getting notifications that either Luciano or Summer was meeting a new milestone, yet it never stuck or I never saw it.

Yes, turns out it’s a glitch that wasted me *so* much time. My babies may well have been much more independent by now if the thing actually worked properly! *AHEM* Whatever, turns out the fix to this nonsense is to go back in to manage worlds and then re-enter your family. You’re welcome. So that’s what we did and finally the kids are learning things.

How cute is he?! And Meryl is also so pleased!

Later that evening, Logan finally snaps.

He has the jealous trait anyway as some of you may remember. I don’t think he’s kissed his husband or even touched him since the kids were born and everyone’s needs were low.

Logan, however, was not the only thing kicking up a stink in the kids’ room. This is how most of the house looks now.

Can you tell I’m having a really rough time?!

And then! For Plumbob’s sake Logan!! He does it again!!

It’s the kids’ birthdays. I was hoping this wouldn’t affect anyones relationships too much and that once the kids are toddlers he’ll snap out of it. Besides, we need to get ready for the party.

Although I also didn’t anticipate for the chef we paid good money for to burn the house down.

Thankfully no guests were here yet, or I wouldn’t have been able to handle the resulting chaos.

The house is evacuated, however the blaze wasn’t as bad as it could have been and was put out pretty quick.

Rocco: “When I said about reigniting the flames of our marriage this is not what I meant!!”

Still, no guests ever did show up. This rotation has just been a load of llama doody from start to finish hasn’t it?!

So I decide to proceed with the birthdays regardless. Thanks to the glitch, the kids barely know any skills. It’s caused one of my best couples to argue, no one has progressed in any careers or aspirations and we’ve neglected the dog. Here’s to a fruitful toddlerhood kids.

You all know what toddlers look like and I was too done by this point to take photos. But, so we all know, Luciano rolled Silly Toddler with top notch infant trait.

Summer rolled Inquisitive toddler, with top notch infant trait.

Based on those personalities I don’t think I’m going to have much less stress next time…

I did change their outfits, but it was straight to bed for these two. I’m not ashamed to admit I was exhausted.

Well, thanks all for joining me through this torture. I did it. And you know what, I feel I’ve actually learnt some bits to make my next adventure with infants a bit easier? Maybe…. I hope you’ve found my despair somewhat entertaining. Compared to this, I’m actually looking forward to playing with this family next rotation. And wasn’t it a lovely wedding? See, I’m trying to take positives!

Join us next time, what will the kids get up to? Will Meryl get any attention? Will anyone ever get promoted or move forwards in their aspirations ever again?! Well, I’m starting to wonder…

Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Summer – Cooper

It’s time for more Oasis Springs Society! I can tell you’re all excited! Last time with the Coopers, Logan moved out with his partner Rocco McRae, Florence grew up to young adult and started galavanting around the Selvadoradean jungle developing her archaeology skill and selling the bits she found. Johnny carried on with his comedy gigs whilst Nancy started to feel a little empty at home with the kids having grown up. We left the Coopers last with Florence being asked out by Maximo, one of the Selvadorada natives who she seems to have taken quite a liking to… despite being in a relationship with Walter.

I am also an idiot, as I should have actually played Logan’s side of the Cooper family first. D’oh! Anyway, nothing that can’t be resolved. So unfortunately for this rotation these two branches of the family will be out of order, but don’t worry, next season I’ll play Logan first and then the original Coopers to get back in to the routine.

Sunday starts off peacefully for the Coopers, Nancy is spending some time with Sam whilst the rest of the family gets off to a slower start. Sam really is such a mucky dog and honestly needs a bath every single day!

We then head out to check out the Rec centre as I had just bought Growing Together! Florence immediately goes to beat up the children’s toys. Why am I not surprised.
The rec centre does look good for kids, but we head back home, where we have a little summer gathering.
Walter also stops by and for once Florence is quite happy to see him.

Oh, maybe that’s why. To be honest I don’t know what to do for these two. Florence has always seemed a bit hot and cold towards Walter who has always been absolutely smitten with her… and now with Maximo on the scene, well, I don’t know.

Nancy also develops the Active trait after using the water slide a few times, I found this hilarious as there will be hope for Johnny yet!

Although it’s a beautiful day, and these two decide to go and visit the romantic garden for a date.

Sigh, I love how in love they both still are!

They have a great time, and end up using the fountain to cool off.

Back at home:

Johnny: “No hey Logan, you’re not interrupting anything son, I can chat. So what’s new?”

Ugh, men and their bathroom habits.

That evening Florence invites the kids out for a homely drink at the cute little pub in Windenburg. Rocco, please stop eyeing up Don Lothario. That is a story for another save…

Don: “Heyyyyy, foxy playables!”

Keep moving Don, if I need another love-triangle story I’d invite you to get in touch. Anyway, Florence and Logan greet each other with a nice hug which is great to see.

And then it’s time to sit down for some games!

The next day Florence isn’t feeling too good.

Although this would explain it… The first baby of Generation 3 is on the way! Doesn’t Florence look thrilled?!

Walter just so happens to come over at almost the perfect time. I have no idea what is going on here, it’s like a renaissance painting. Johnny is wailing about something completely irrelevant, Florence is yelling at Walter. Walter is confused… Sam is just keeping out the way….

Florence: “As I was trying to say! I’m pregnant!”

The two head out in the hall to continue their conversation.

Walter: “Florence that’s great news! I love you so much! Where shall we move in together? Or do we look for a new house entirely?!”

Florence: “That’s sweet, but I’m not sure I’m ready for that… lets see how things go.. in the meantime, here’s a key and you can come over any time…”

Eesh, Walter looks upset doesn’t he.

Anyway, deciding not to dwell on what she would like to do with her relationships and love interests which are now complicated by this tiny sim, we decide to work on Florence’s aspiration. She has to clog 5 sinks at other sim’s homes. Of course Florence decides to hit up the Jangs.

Oh revenge! Revenge and its so sweet! That’s for being such bad neighbours to the Evaristo’s – don’t mess with me!

On another note, there’s something quite hilarious about a pregnant lady bursting in to someone’s home to maliciously clog their sink isn’t there? Anaya started protesting that Florence was being really inappropriate but funnily enough I fail to care.

We then head home to celebrate a job well done with some video games.

And some more vomiting! Seriously, Florence has been so sick this pregnancy it’s unreal.

However nothing stops Florence for very long and she decides she really wants to further her name in archeological studies before this baby comes. So it’s time for another trip to Selvadorada.

I swear Johnny and Nancy just fall more in love at this place.

Meanwhile, Florence heads straight out in to the burning sun to go and find some artefacts.

Florence seems to be doing lots of things this rotation that it is societally questionable for pregnant ladies to do, including chopping down massive thick vines with a machete.

Florence: “Oh I don’t feel so good…”

Honey, I don’t think it’s appropriate to carry on when you’ve been bitten by a scorpion…

Florence decides my advice was a load of llama doody and she makes it to the omiscan baths, which looks absolutely beautiful at this time of day with the pink sky!

Back at the lot, Johnny has a great time doing some fishing and actually really enjoys himself. Look at that beautiful view too! I actually really like Selvadorada. I wish it was a bit bigger and could have full time residential lots there. Would be great for sims who want a slower pace, ‘live off the land’ style of life.

Although it doesn’t take long for Florence to return and catch up with Maximo who is running his stall outside the cantina.

Maximo: “Florence, I’ve missed you so much! I’ve been doing some thinking..”

Florence: “I’ve been doing some thinking too! But you go first…”

Maximo: “Well, move here with me so we can be together, or I’ll move to Oasis Springs to be with you!”

The pair decide this is a great idea and Florence now knows what she has to do when she returns home. I mean Florence, if he can still love you whilst you’re covered in green circles and pregnant with your legit-boyfriend’s kid then maybe you’re meant for each other…

Back home, Florence was rolling so many wants for Maximo including a want to get engaged to him, which is really what sealed the deal for where I took this. I try and listen to my sims as much as possible to keep the game a bit more interesting, then it feels like they’ve made their own decisions on key life events.

Florence decides to pay a little visit to Walter after her sudden realisation.

Walter: “This is great! I can’t wait for this baby to be born Florence! We need to decide on names? What are you thinking? I reckon if it’s a girl then…”

Florence: “Umm, Walter.. I need to speak to you about something..”

Walter: “Well, what is it?”

Florence: “I’m really sorry, but I don’t think I want the same things from our relationship anymore, and I really want us to go our separate ways Walter. I’m sorry… I still want you in this baby’s life and at the birth, but I can’t see forever with you…”

He looked absolutely crushed, but from the surface things were resolved quite amicably… Florence wasn’t even sad. I hope she’s sure about this, as I always shipped her and Walter together but this is what she wanted. Ah butts, I just love little Walter so much.

Ironically not long after the awkwardness, Florence goes in to labour. Florence strikes me as the sort of girl who doesn’t mess around and would want this process over asap… so we head to the hospital.

Walter: “Where is she?! I got here as quick as I could!”

Poor Walter, I love you. You don’t deserve any of this.

Anyway, Dr Wren delivers the baby safely. A little baby boy, Francis Cooper.

Whilst back at home, Sam ages up to elder. How can this be?! Sam feels like he’s barely had time as part of the family!

Well, despite the relationship coming to an end, Walter is still like a second son to Nancy and Johnny and the house key means he can come and see Francis whenever he likes. I like to think he’s talking to Nancy here about the birth of his son.. Speaking of which….

Florence: “Here he is Walter! Look, I really think he looks like you!”

Oh my gosh, look at that little smile.

And the two just go to hug outside before Walter then leaves for the night.

(I actually didn’t make them do this… my heart… Walter is just so happy!)

Johnny: “Hey! Did anyone ring for a celebrity?!”

That’s right, Johnny got a chance card to be propelled to the top of his career and to gain some fame so he has come home incredibly happy tonight. And for once, it seems like everyone in the Cooper household is just perfectly happy with just the way things are.

The next morning, Johnny and Sam have some lovely snuggles on the bench. I love Sam so much!

Walter is of course already at the house and eating the birthday cake Nancy had made for the upcoming party. Sigh.

… As it’s time for Nancy and Johnny to follow Kirby’s footsteps and turn in to elders!

Johnny decides to go first. Cheered on by a small number of family and friends. I don’t think the Evaristo’s could make it for some reason?

Sigh, one elderly guy coming through! Now for Nancy.

Although, old age suits these two. Johnny looks very comfortable as the funny grandfather type character, and Nancy’s features appear soft and beautiful in her old age. They sit down together for a slice of cake, certainly a much quieter birthday party than they have previously been used to. Remember when Nancy used to streak all the time?!

Ever since the birth of Francis and starting a relationship with Maximo, Florence has said she has found a reason to be happy and has gained the cheerful trait. Which is lovely really… Maximo decides to move in, although my jaw dropped when I read his traits.

His aspiration is serial romantic and traits are creative, materialistic, family-oriented and alluring. Ok, so he’ll cheat with everyone, but at least he’ll love his kids… Oh Florence. I’m sorry but I think you made the wrong choice.

Never mind though. Florence’s hands will be kept full with Francis for a little while, who really does look like Walter. My babies never stay babies for very long, and I wanted him to become an infant before the end of the rotation…

Francis rolls the intense infant trait. Of course. Great, thank you very much dice.

Still, Maximo is off to a good start with helping to care for Francis.

And then, in the final slithers of this rotation, we fulfil Florence’s want of getting engaged to Maximo.

The Cooper’s have become a family a bit like a patchwork quilt haven’t they? I really didn’t think my game would take this direction. I didn’t expect Florence to ever have kids or want to get married, but she is so happy right now that I’m just happy to let it happen! So join us next time for more Oasis Springs Society, how will Maximo settle in? How intense will Francis be?! How will the wedding go? Will Johnny and Nancy enjoy old age? And many other questions will be answered next time!

Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Summer – Morgan

It’s time for more Oasis Springs Society! Welcome back! We’ve missed you! But what happened last time for the Morgan’s?

Vihaan and Agnes Joy moved in with Kirby and Walter prompting the build of a stylish basement extension (if I do say so myself!). Walter aged up to young adult and Vihaan started to become closer with one of the personal trainers at the gym he used to go to – Candice. Meanwhile, things with Agnes and Syrah and Kirby and Trevon continued beautifully.

We join the family now together for a meal which was really nice to see!

After something to eat, I get a notification about Ishaan’s spirit fading away. Yes, despite the constant mourning. After a lot of thought, we call it a day and Kirby releases his spirit. He never really came out to haunt, and Kirby used to spend so much time mourning, that in a way it’s kind of freeing to release Ishaan.

That afternoon, Agnes and Syrah go for a soak at the Onsen. I still cannot complete this part of Agnes’ aspiration, no matter how long she’s in there for! And look, she’s obviously relaxed as she’s even fallen asleep! Leaving Syrah to watch the world go by.

Kirby certainly has plans that are more fun? As she meets up with Trevon at a new restaurant.

I actually got this lot from the gallery and it’s beautiful, quite a nice sized restaurant with an indoor bar and also an outdoor bar in a nice garden. I was very eager to use this lot when I got it! I’ve popped it where most of my new lots go, in Newcrest.

And hey! Andres is also here with his family. I love seeing sims that my playables are in some way involved with out and about seemingly living life.

But, ahem, the service is a little lacking as the waitress chucks the dirty dishes in front of Kirby’s food. Funnily enough she doesn’t look happy about it!

Kirby: “Umm, hon… are you going to move that?”

Trevon: “So honey bun, as.I was saying, they had a potluck at work with the most delicious…”

Trevon doesn’t seem to notice bless him that Kirby isn’t really paying attention!

However the other couples are also here! It’s like an Oasis Springs Society reunion! And it’s super cute really. Chiara is probably reviewing the place… Nancy and Johnny are just crazily in love.

Ahem, case in point..

Kirby goes over to say hi to her friends, Trevon doesn’t seem to mind, and it was really sweet that they were all trying out the new restaurant together!
Kirby is also a brilliant grandmother and loves helping Agnes with her homework.
That evening Florence comes round to see Walter. They’re still ticking over quite nicely, although she seems in a really bad mood tonight.
Walter tries to cheer her up…
Which works ever so slightly, but Florence quickly goes home after this. I don’t think she was really feeling it this evening. Florence is often in a bad mood, and Walter is often on the end of it!
I still completely love this family. The Morgan’s do have such a really strong bond naturally that is something that seems to have completely organically developed. I know that sounds really cheesy, but they’re always showing appreciation for each other that just isn’t really mimicked in other households. A bit like how Nancy and Johnny are my most ‘loved up’ couple.
The next morning Vihaan decides to meet a girl at one of the Windenburg coffee shops. It’s a really bleak day at the moment and Vihaan’s original date stood him up, so we end up calling someone else…
That’s right, Candice accepts our invitation for coffee. This lady is really starting to grow on me and she seems to really like Vihaan. Although please ignore the absolutely filthy coffee machine, the barista has cleaned it by the next photo…
These two are really starting to hit it off. In fact, Vihaan invites Candice back home.
Vihaan: “you know, Candice, I really like you…”

Candice: “oh, that’s really sweet… in fact, I like you too..”

This pair’s relationship has completely flourished. I don’t necessarily see them together forever, but it’s nice that Vihaan has someone who genuinely seems in to him.
Meanwhile, it’s a night on the town for Kirby and Trevon who go and get a few drinks at Maison Bargiela.
Trevon also seems to make Kirby happy. Look at him, he’s actually a cutie! He’s really grown on me a lot recently too, I don’t think Trevon will ever move in or marry Kirby (I can’t keep up with all the playables I have!) but it’s nice to be able to do things with him.
Although they then decide to put on a public display of affection.

Green shirt guy: “please, carry on… I’m not staring…”

Little Agnes however is going through a rough time. She’s quite emotional at the moment and not really enjoying being around her family. Syrah is an absolute sweetheart and quickly rushes over to support her.
Although Agnes is also very tense and argumentative around Vihaan. Ugh, teens.
But it’s time for a birthday party, and everyone is here to celebrate Kirby’s birthday! Nancy actually has more luck talking to celebrities than Chiara did the other day!!
I also forgot this was Quartz’ party outfit and I LOVE it. How much does it suit her?! She stands outside talking to Walter for a little bit.
Soon it’s a gathering of the Oasis Springs Society! The usual suspects made liberal use of the bar. We even have Cassandra Goth photo bombing!

Quartz still hasn’t come inside for some reason though. She’s good friends with Agnes who goes outside to chat to her.
The other kids have somehow got past the bouncer to access the VIP area upstairs. It just goes to show that the younger you are the more confidence you have to just go and do things like this. In my head, Marcus let them through as he is the unlikely best friend of Johnny Zest, and this bunch of misfits are his friends.
You’ve got to admit though, this does look pretty cool.
However the only disadvantage of the whole group being in the private lounge upstairs is that they missed Kirby gracefully aging up downstairs.
Oh my sweet Kirby, we love you! It doesn’t seem right that these guys are growing up!
Although is it any wonder the crew didn’t come down to watch when they have their own show unfolding right in front of them! Marcus decided to break this guy’s legs for trying to get in, let this be a lesson to you kids, this could have been you!
But they do all come downstairs after for some dancing!
The next day is date day. Vihaan and Candice decide to put on a show for the other diners.
It’s a good job they’re super cute together!
Back at home the half brothers have a chat about life, friendships, relationships… they’re still really close which is one of my favourite things about the Morgans
I also figure Agnes needs more of a relationship with her mother, so Sofia comes round for dinner and it was actually a nice evening.

Followed by a little bit of skilling tutored by Kirby at the chess table.

The day was made even better with Vihaan’s promotion that night! That’s right, he’s finally got to level 8 of the chef career track, and as such has completed his aspiration. Yes, you deserve that smile Vihaan, please keep it on your face forever! This has taken me far too long but finally – it is done!
In fact, let’s go and party! I love how everyone here is doing exactly what I would expect of them, Kirby and Chiara dancing, Vihaan awkwardly dancing, Cliff just standing there….
Although why the heck has Sofia shown up again?! She certainly does still seem to like air time with this family!
Although it seems like her ex husband has completely moved on.
Meanwhile this group are having a great night, just like old times!

Lady: “umm, is it one of those clubs?!”

No, hun, you’re good. Maybe this guy just needed some fresh air. Anywho, that’s all we have time for for the Morgan’s this rotation! Join us next time for more dating, how will Vihaan and Candice progress? What will Kirby think of old age? Will Agnes start to be more of herself? What will happen with Walter and Florence? We should hopefully have Agnes’ birthday next time too as she ventures in to the adult world. How exciting!
See you next time!

Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Spring – Evaristo

Welcome back to more Oasis Springs Society. We’re back with the Evaristo’s… who today are enjoying a relaxing afternoon at the pool.

Last time, Chiara completed her career as a food critic, Cliff continued writing book after book in the hopes of writing best sellers… Syrah plodded along and continues dating Agnes Joy. And Quartz aged up and matured from making her brother’s life a living hell. Instead, she rolled the soulmate aspiration; which seems out of character… but maybe she wants to continue the alien race. I don’t know…

The girls are just relaxing. Gosh I love these two! And actually, swimming in ts4 has become one of my preferred pastimes.

What I also really love about this pool in Windenburg is that it’s totally more of a leisure facility than a gym so having a bar and a function room there is something I really like.

I think it also suits Chiara, for obvious reasons, who goes to chat with her husband at the poolside with a glass of wine.

Back at home that evening, Quartz actually gets talking to this guy, Andres, and gets on pretty well with him! Quartz has very limited friends, so aside from Agnes Joy she doesn’t really have a lot of kids her age to socialise with.

Syrah explores more cultural pursuits and has actually painted a beautiful piece! I didn’t realise he had such high skill, but he seemed to enjoy himself too!

Cliff however continues his writing. We are still waiting on a best seller – it just isn’t happening! And it must be so exhausting as Cliff falls asleep at the desk.

Chiara continues her drinking. There’s something that seems a bit… pointless… of having a workout and then hitting the bar.

But lo and behold, Andres decides to come and see Quartz at home.

And they bond over laughing at some selfies.

Agnes continues to be wonderful and tries to fix the rubbish chute.

Sigh.

Extra sigh. This morning is going really well!

Although it gets better for Quartz as Andres comes round to see her again. Although these two decide to head out instead of cluttering up the apartment.

So they head to the park. Teens just live on their phones don’t they?

Although it’s a beautiful location for Quartz’ first kiss, and the weather looks dreamy too!

I am happy, although conflicted for Quartz. She really likes Andres and has the soulmate aspiration… but is also evil. Although I daresay even evil people require life companions…

Obviously Quartz doesn’t feel as conflicted as I do as she decides she just wants a nap!

The gang then decide to have a night out in typical Oasis Springs Society fashion. Although I only got this one picture of Nancy thoroughly enjoying herself.

But it’s Tuesday, and time to help Quartz shape her future without her ever knowing.

You see, now Quartz does want a soulmate, I decide I need one kid to carry on the alien line. I can’t guarantee that Syrah will have alien children with his human girlfriend, Agnes Joy. And Syrah and Agnes are absolutely made for each other so I’m not splitting them up. So Chiara takes Quartz to alien night at the bar, just to meet some different people and see what happens for now… although Quartz didn’t really seem to care and was drawn towards this girl.

Chiara made some friends however, who she could always introduce Quartz to later.

Baako: “heyyyy foxy ladies! Baako is here to hang out and let his hair down!”

Umm, that’s great Baako… but you invited yourself and you’re stuck in the bathroom. *eye roll-*

That’s right, no one did invite Baako, although we did invite all the kids for a movie night! Chiara even made cupcakes for them!

Well, I say kids even though half of them are now adults, but I really mean everyone who is part of the second generation. I want them to all continue to grow up together. It was pretty sweet watching everyone enjoy the movie together!

Walter and Logan then decided to catch up afterwards.

Chiara steps in to supply the kids with alcohol.

The next morning it’s time to get back to work and to paint a mural. So we head to the arts centre.

Cliff has decided he can’t be bothered today so takes a nap. Maybe he’s living art?

It was at this point that I felt that I wanted to try something new in my gameplay. I was getting pretty bored of Chiara having the same work tasks most days and my daughter had just got Get Famous. So Chiara becomes a food vlogger!

Kirby joins her whilst she’s live streaming for a quick catch up with her bestie.

Agnes is also here, although she does basically live here as she’s always visiting Syrah or Quartz.

I love this girl.

Love was on the cards this evening as the adults try out the bar in Del Sol Valley.

Although despite her rising social media presence, Chiara isn’t well known yet. That doesn’t stop her making out with Cliff in the background of the photo of Dustin the paparazzi is taking. I’m inclined to believe Chiara has very astute business and marketing skills.

The kids are having a bit more of a relaxing date at the karaoke bar and instead decide to make out in front of this person’s performance.

How much do I love them as a couple! Perfection!

In fact, the only person not having a good time is Quartz. She was raging at the Jang’s making so much noise so decides she’s going round there. Anaya was having none of it (she’s not as nice as her weird husband, Baako) and Quartz actually develops a fear of being judged.

Considering this is Quartz Evaristo we are talking about, force of the sim earth, she decides to have a pep talk with her brother the next morning.

Quartz: “and then she was just so mean to me! And I don’t know, who even am I if I don’t command her respect?! Maybe I’m not evil after all.”

Syrah: “I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but pull yourself together Quartz! You’ve always been as mean as a rattlesnake! Maybe Anaya caught you at a bad time, but I’m inclined to believe she has nothing on you! You made my existence miserable when you were only a child!”

I wasn’t expecting Quartz to have a sniff of revenge so soon, but she was revitalised by her conversation with her brother and coincidentally Anaya wanted to come and run her mouth about noise we were supposedly making?

I must say, Quartz was completely ruthless, made an enemy and I just sat back and watched.

She must have been feeling better after this as Quartz decides to hold a gathering of the kids at the Bluffs. Walter was the only one who’s made it down to the water so far.

Florence got stuck behind the rock, which is saying something considering she’s technically an archaeologist. Agnes decided she was going to sit back and do her extra credit.

Yes, the party was a little slow going.

Although things soon got moving after some dives and evil cackling.

In fact Quartz was so happy she even decided to explore this bush with Andres that was just big enough to fit 2 people inside…

How much do I love this girl… remember when I wasn’t sure I even wanted to keep her after Cliff had that unfortunate night with Pollination Technician?! I’m so glad I did!

All in all, the kids have a pretty good time.

Back at home, Quartz teases Syrah just for old times sake.

Although it’s nothing that a hug can’t resolve. These two really have developed in their relationship. But that’s it for spring with the Evaristo’s. Join us next time to see Chiara’s social media ‘career’ develop. Will Cliff ever get me that best seller?! And what will happen with Quartz and Andres?

Join us next time to find out!

Oasis Springs Society – Rotation 3 – Spring – Cooper

Welcome to more Oasis Springs Society! We’re back with the Coopers. But hey, nestled in to the landscape of Brindleton Bay, this doesn’t look like the normal Cooper house in the desert?

That’s right! The boys have moved out! You may remember me talking about it at the end of the last update, but Logan and Rocco have pumped their savings in to this tiny home in the marsh land of Brindleton Bay.

I’m a little miffed actually, as I thought I gave them a ton of money to pump in to a business, but no.. It was seemingly all drained by renovation to the house. As it was in quite a state anyway, but these boys have a sense of taste and style that they were not willing to compromise on..

Ahem, Logan starts off professing his undying love to Rocco and his fruit salad.

Logan continues with his job in the business career track. You may think that’s an irrelevant caption, but it totally isn’t. As he’s saving money for his business of course, so he needs a stable job to pay the bills and to pay in to the Plumbob Building Society of Simvestments and Loans.

However, he just cannot resist a dog which I find provides adequate returns of happiness and cuteness for the monetary outlays…

Squee!! This is Meryl.

I initially was looking for something like a cocker spaniel or a Labrador, but as soon as I saw Meryl I just had to get her.

She is a total cutie. Please brace yourselves for ongoing spam. Meryl is in fact my favourite breed in real life, so I think that’s why I felt extra drawn to her.

And here’s Rocco. Like, whatever…

Just kidding! Rocco is the next biggest name in fashion so for part of his work, he has to interview townies on their fashion choices. As you can imagine, I don’t think inspiration has struck him big yet. And besides, I don’t think the old masters like Dior, Chanel or Versace interviewed the people walking by their homes for help.

My heart…

When he’s not busy thinking about garments, Rocco indulges in his hobby for his aspiration which some of you may remember is ‘The Curator’. I know that the final step in this is to complete a collection and seeing as I had completed the collection of elements in my old legacy with Yaretzi Waites, I feel that this may be the easiest option to complete it again.

However the shores of Brindleton Bay don’t yield any valuable crystals and I feel we may have to look elsewhere.

Aww, Nancy remains such a great mother, dropping by to visit her son.

So cute!

Logan: ‘You know, we are alright here mum, it’s literally only been a day…”

The next morning Rocco’s hunt for fashion inspiration continues.

Although I don’t think he’s very good at this just yet. 8 year olds in scout outfits don’t immediately make me think they are the next big thing.

When Rocco is not working or collecting, all he does is scroll the internet. Honestly, if you leave him to his own devices you can guarantee you will find him doomscrolling things like bags, hats and boy bands.

I figure it’s time to get the boys out of the house and they go and explore the lighthouse together.

It made for a pretty cool and artistic shot…

And time to warm up by the fire once we’re home.

Logan loves little Meryl and tries to teach her as many skills as possible.

She is such a cute little dog.

Although has a habit of hiding under the sofa. At least she is small enough to fit.

But it’s time for a dinner party for Logan’s aspiration. Nancy is just thrilled to be invited to her son’s new home.

It was a lovely evening, we kept it small by only inviting the parents and Walter as Logan’s childhood best friend.

I also cut this one short as Logan only needed a silver rating and I didn’t want to overdo it.

The next morning Rocco is on vet duty as Meryl woke up quite sick. We choose the most expensive treatment and this is the first time I’ve had a sick animal so I didn’t want to risk anything by not getting the best option.

We go to Oasis Springs after the vet trip to look for collectables and to interview the locals regarding their fashion habits. Why on earth Rocco thinks that Victor and Bjorg are the height of fashion is truly beyond me.

Victor: “Hey! You don’t even have a notebook! How do I know this interview is legit?!”

Rocco: “Oh, trust me, I’m taking copious notes…” *Stares at hotpants*.

Thankfully, little Meryl is feeling better in no time. And it’s nice to see the landscape at the boys’ house brighten up a little bit, it has been so gloomy the past couple of days. But that view with the sea and the sunshine looks gorgeous!

Meanwhile, we have an invisible fire? Everyone was freaking out and things were burning but there was nothing to see? Anyway, weird, but we got the fire brigade out anyway.

At this point everything decided to break too. So the boys weren’t having much fun.

Old Victorian houses and their maintenance needs, am I right?

Deciding that he needed some downtime after everything fell apart, Rocco decides to watch TV whilst Logan is at work. You know what, I don’t even want to know Rocco.

Rocco: “It’s just the weather channel I swear! Apparently it’ll be hot today so time to see some abs!”

Aren’t you the lucky one!

And it did turn out to be a lovely day, so maybe Rocco was telling the truth… he heads in to Willow Creek to go hunting for crystals round by the bistro and I get to watch Kirby and Trevon have a sweet date.

That evening Logan had to tell Meryl off for something.

I don’t even remember what it was, but she was MAD. Logan was exhausted so I sent him back to bed whilst I stressed that Meryl would run away after this.

The next morning it turns out I didn’t have to worry… I was genuinely relieved to find out that Meryl still liked Logan!!

It’s a beautiful day, so we head to the park for the afternoon so Meryl can get some exercise and Rocco can look for crystals.

I just thought this all looked really sweet. And I was so happy as I thought that the love hearts meant that Meryl was having a great time. Anyway, you can imagine how stunned I was when I found out on Reddit that she’s actually in heat.

But whatever, as night fell and with Meryl by their sides, it seemed like an ideal time for Logan to pop the question.

Of course Rocco said yes! I really love these two.

The next morning Meryl gets sick, again, and this time I send Logan with her.

I’ve gone for the cheaper option as I exclaimed in the vet’s office “seriously Meryl, twice in one week?!” so you can see here that she is now sporting the cone of shame. And with perfect timing for the boys’ engagement party!

However Meryl wasn’t the worst dressed. Kirby, what the hell?!

Vihaan still loves her though, and pulls his stepmother in for a hug.

If it’s one thing the Morgan’s do well, it is family affection.

And the party is in full swing. Seriously I just love people watching at these things. I find it so fitting that the teens are chatting whilst Johnny is trying to bust a move.

Chiara remains true to form by cracking open some bottles.

Chiara: “well duh? Did you think the boys had this display behind me for decoration?”

I let Chiara do her thing and decided to watch the rest of the party. I love this bunch! I also don’t know why, but Cliff and Quartz didn’t show up… but they aren’t really social butterflies anyway.

With the party over, Logan takes time to both relax and freshen up. He’s happy with the result of his party and what a perfect way to celebrate.

Rocco’s dad: “knock knock! Son! I heard about your engagement! Can I come in to give my congratulations?!”

Umm, sir… I don’t think the boys are going to come to the door right now.

Yes, this is legit what happened. Fun times! Anywho, that’s all the Oasis Springs Society that’s fit to print for now! Join us next time to find out, will these two get married? Will Logan start his business? Will Meryl get sick again? And will Rocco ever decide to interview a townie who’s actually started off with some fashion sense?

Until next time!
